KLEIN-BRAKRIVIER

Klein-Brakrivier (Little Brak River) is one of two similarly named resorts near Mossel Bay, being 14kms from the port town. Unlike its close relation Groot-Brakrivier, there was never any semaphore signalling here as far as I know. However, the attractive station building still survives as a catering establishment, which has prolonged the lives of many station buildings in the area.

The lines in this area still have point indicators, which are in the style of semaphore signals, which gives me some justification for including this site on these pages, apart from the desire for symmetry in including all the Brak Rivers!
