LAWLEY

Lawley is on the New Canada to Vereeniging suburban line. Most of that line is now CTC, but there are two locations, Lawley and Grasmere, where mechanical signalling and semaphore still rule in 2011 -each has a signal box with 36 levers. . Lawley features the unusual "wrong-road" signals shown here as one of the home signals- the only other location with "wrong-road" signals is Bellair.
